Novaflex
Static Dissipating Urethane Duct
Types:
Ducting
Vendor: Novaflex
Application:
Novaflex TPU-SD (.030" wall gauge)Static dissipating urethane reinforced with steel wire helix safely reduces static charges. TPU-SD is now manufactured using raw materials which meet the current requirements of the FDA for food contact applications when used in accordance with the requirements and limitations of 21 CFR: 175.105 and 177.2600a.
This specially-formulated, inherently static-dissipating grade of urethane, also maintains the TPU-SD duct’s ability for permanent protection against electrostatic discharge.

Static dissipating material with wire helix allows for safe grounding when used with metallic fittings. Conductivity of the duct should be
tested regularly. Test the OHMS meter using conductive fittings inserted into each end of the duct. Point to point and point to ground
testing performed on 4" duct resulted in readings between 1x108 and I x 1010 OHMS.
