Kuriyama - Kuri Tec / K-Tough / K9296 Series High Pressure Suction & Discharge Hose
Vendor: Kuriyama
Category: Air and Multipurpose Hose
Category: Special Application
Application:
K-Tough™ Series hoses by Kuriyama are ideal for ANFO and Emulsion transfer for blasting applications. Their rugged design allows for superior resistance against crushing and kinking while their MSHA accepted cover material offers unsurpassed jacket abrasion resistance. K-Tough’s smooth core reduces friction for improved flow which means less wear and tear on pumps.
Features and Advantages
- Increased Pressure Rating – Heavy duty construction up to 300 psi.
- Crush and Kink Resistant – Helical wire and high tensile yarn construction allows for enhanced resistance.
- Abrasion Resistant Cover – Resists wear from being dragged on rough surfaces.
- Reduced Friction Loss – Smooth core allows for increased flow and reduced wear and tear on pumps.
- Superior Flexibility – More flexible than other similar hoses.
- MSHA Accepted – Cover material accepted by MSHA as having met the requirements for acceptance of flame-resistant solid products taken into mines for hoses transferring air, oil, water or other fluids.
NOTE: Working Pressure decreases as temperature increases. Pressure ratings can only be obtained with proper coupling procedures. Use of compression fitting with Kuri Tec® reinforced hose is not recommended. Hose claims involving use of these fittings will be disallowed.
††CAUTION: This product is designed to help dissipate static electricity when the metal wire is properly connected to ground through the fitting or other means.
†CAUTION: Consult Kuri Tec® PVC chemical resistance guide for suitability.
