US Hose TIFT-Compoflex MTBE-Master GG Code 901/017 is specifically designed for the transfer of MTBE (Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether) and other additives used in today's gasoline formulas. Heavy Duty MTBE-Master hoses are engineered to offer extra chemical resistance of PTFE for the transfer of 100% MTBE for markets outside of the USA, where MTBE and other additives are still used to enhance the performance of petroleum. The PTFE layers are protected by layers of special MTBE resistant, high strength mono-filament woven polypropylene to eliminate damaged caused by inner wire abrasion in normal flexing and bending.

MTBE-Master GG Code 901/017 is rated for full suction and discharge applications up to 250 psi and 200 psi in 4" diameter.

MTBE-Master GG Code 901/017 is available with a wide range of threaded, flanged or cam and groove couplers in carbon steel, brass or aluminium for the oil transfer industry.

Typical applications: For all ship, barge and dockside transfer operations. 
Compliance:  USCG certification and factory test certificate to 33 CFR, Section 154.500. 
Conveyants handled:  100% MTBE (methyl tert-butyl ether) and 100% aromatics.
