Application:

Rugged, wire-braid steam hose recommended for saturated and superheated steam applications in chemical plants, shipyards and industrial plants.
NOTE:
Drain the hose after each use for maximum hose life.
Do not alternate use between steam and water.
Superheated steam will reduce the life of the hose
Consult JGB for the proper fitting recommendation and coupling procedure.

SATURATED (NOT SUPER-HEATED) STEAM

WARNING

• Steam heat is hotter than 212ºF and increases in temperature as pressure increases.
• Consult JGB to make sure the correct fittings are used for the application and for guidelines on proper assembly techniques.
• If not controlled properly, exposure to steam can be hazardous and could cause serious injury or even death. In order to avoid serious injury or death, proper hose selection, installation, usage and maintenance is necessary.
