Cementing
Once the cement is prepared, the well is ready to be cased. Casing, also known as cementing, isolates all water and hydrocarbon-producing horizons from each other, which helps prevent the well walls from collapsing.
On average, it takes 55,000 gallons of cement and nearly 10,000 psi to transfer the mixture and complete the process. That’s why only the toughest hose should be used for this intense process.
Fracing
Quality hoses are integral to opening rock formations in the hydraulic fracturing process. We transfer the fracing fluids, including water, oil and hydrochloric acid, which are all necessary components for creating the cement used to case the drilling well.
